Christmas Card Samples!

I've been designing Christmas cards, and am starting to add some to the website and blog to give everyone an idea of how creative we could get... just imagine this blue and gold, sparkling on pearl card stock!  Even though my favorite color is red, I am in LOVE with this design and we may use it for our own cards this year.  Besides, blue is Tim's, Grace's, & Joe's favorite color!  And the gold accents remind me of the grasses at sunset at the place where I want to take our family portrait this year...

One Special Day...

On September 6th, Ana Jafari and Steve Criddle became one.  Ana is one of my dearest friends, so I cannot begin to express how special it was to witness and photograph those moments.  Her little brother was incredibly excited and honored to be the ring bearer... 

Steve kept his Marine face on almost the entire day, but it was easy to tell his heart melted the moment he saw her...

Ok, I admit, I have not kept up with my blog like I intended when I opened it... So, over the next few days I will catch up on a few posts that are late (I'm embarassed), but definitely deserve the attention!  Let's begin with that extra special day, Ana's wedding...

Just in Time for the Holidays!

Gearing up for the Holiday Season, I have two new Promotions to offer... to check them out go to Products/Promotions at the website.  Portraits are always well received as gifts, whatever time of the year, and with the "Portraits for the Family " Package, you'll win, too, by saving 30% until December 10th!  Also, I'll be offering Holiday Cards at a discount with each new session until November 14th.  Custom cards are great for so many reasons!  You just give a little input as to what colors and images you like, let me know what you'd like the text to say... then I design, you proof, and when the cards arrive all you do is slip them in the included envelopes, and address them... how easy is that?!  Perfect for the always-too-busy season.  I'll post a sample soon!

Introducing the New Blog and Website!

Welcome to my blog!  I'm very excited to announce that our new website has finally been launched.  You'll notice that you can access both mine and Tim's site from one splash page.  I love this because, even though each business and website is it's own entity and very unique, we do work together and help each other a great deal.  Also, several of the images on my website were created by Tim, and vice versa.  I feel so blessed to be able to work with him!

Both the blog and website will be updated often, so do check back regularly!  I'll use the blog to introduce you to our newest products, announce our monthly specials, talk about interesting sessions, etc.

Although August is almost over, we'll start with the August special... "The Dog Days of Summer"  How does it work?  It's fun and simple... Just book a session to include your pet (no, it does not have to be a dog) during the month of August, then bring in a bag of dog or cat food to the session in place of your Session Fee (a savings of $50.00).  We will donate the food to the Brazos Valley Animal Shelter.  As with all promotions, the Print Deposit of $75.00 will still be required at the time of the session.
